I am running for the Medford School Board because I believe in the power of public education to transform lives. As a longtime resident of Medford, an educator, a journalist, and a parent, I am deeply invested in ensuring that our schools provide every student with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

For over 30 years, I have dedicated my career to education. I have worked as a K-12 teacher, university professor, program administrator, and writing instructor at Rogue Community College. My experience spans from working directly with students in the classroom to training teachers, developing curriculum, conducting educational research, and writing grants. I know firsthand what works in education because I have spent my life teaching, learning, and advocating for students and educators.
